Much has been written before about awards and prizes. Not getting any award does not mean that the value of that human contribution has diminished. Although Gandhiji did not receive the Nobel Prize, this does not mean that Gandhiji is not a Mahatma. As time goes by, people and the world increasingly appreciate Gandhiji's contribution. In the world of awards, the Nobel Prize is the best contribution in the whole world. When the Magsaysay Award is given to the best talent in Asia, it can also be called the Nobel Prize in Asia.
